Time to “cut the hedges” York Council told

Hedges which surround many of the communal areas in estates in York need cutting. They haven’t received any attention for over 3 months and are blocking sight lines.

They also make the estates look neglected.

The snicket linking Cornlands Road and Tennent Road is not only overgrown but also full of litter, weeds and detritus. It’s condition has been drawn to the attention of local Councillors
Thorn branches are beginning to obstruct the Tithe Close/Tedder Road snicket
It is not just Council hedges which are a problem. An obstruction of the public footpath on Askham Lane has been an issue for a couple of months
