Cllr Mark Waters has published on social media photos of and overgrown verge on Grantham Drive. The photos clearly show that detritus has been allowed to build up round street furniture which – coupled with an awkward access for mowers – has left the residential area looking shoddy.
Until the Council gets its labour and skills shortages sorted out, surely local Councillors – some of whom seem very willing to spend time posing at “photo op” events – might be better occupied organising volunteers to tidy up areas like these?
