Vida Adamczewski is a writer from South East London. Her debut play, AMPHIBIAN, was commissioned for the Play Mill Festival in July 2021 at the King’s Head Theatre in Islington and had a second sold out run at the Hannah Barry Gallery, Peckham raising over £4000 for the National Network of Abortion Funds and the British Pregnancy Advisory Service. For AMPHIBIAN, Vida won the UEA New Forms Award from the National Writing Centre in 2022. Her writing has previously been published in The London Magazine, Mslexia, LRB Blog, Document Journal, Ambit Magazine, The Mays Anthology, The Oxford Review of Books, Byline Times and Vittles. In February 2023, Vida launched ‘Yer Bard’, a monthly poetry night and community dedicated to bringing together leading voices in contemporary poetry with early career writers. They provide a free editorial and reading service for all their guests aiming to break down barriers and help guests get their first poems published.

Vida’s debut collection of writing, Amphibian & Other Bodies, was published with Toothgrinder Press in November 2023

Rachael Clyne a retired psychotherapist from Glastonbury, is widely published in journals. Her prizewinning collection, Singing at the Bone Tree (Indigo Dreams), is about eco-concerns. Her pamphlet, Girl Golem explores her Jewish migrant heritage. You’ll Never Be Anyone Else, Rachael’s latest collection, expands on themes of identity and otherness, including LGBTQ+ and relationships. She treats even dark topics with humour and colourful imagery.

Julie Stevens writes poems that cover many themes, but often engages with the problems of disability. She is widely published in places such as Ink Sweat & Tears, Broken Sleep Books, The Honest Ulsterman, Strix and Indigo Dreams Publishing. She has 3 published pamphlets: Step into the Dark (July 2023), A Stickleback Balancing Act (June 2021) both with The Hedgehog Poetry Press and a chapbook Quicksand (Dreich, Sept 2020).
