Bishopthorpe Road closure: Hole filled in – may reopen sooner than expected

The hole on Bishopthorpe Road has been filled in by contractors. Only resurfacing is required.

There are hopes that the road will soon reopen.

The closure has caused massive tail backs on parallel routes with some traffic diverting through quiet residential streets.
