Specially designed seats for wheelchair users installed on Front Street

As we forecast a few weeks ago. the Council has installed disabled-friendly public seats on Front Street as part of its regeneration project..

The seats are designed to allow people with mobilty problems to move from a wheelchair or mobility scooter onto the bench with as much ease as possible.

One of the benches is designated as a place where people can “chat” informally.
