The new crime commisioner (Mayor) has lost no time in awarding contracts for domestic abuse and childrens abuse contracts.
The value of the contracts is likely to be over £17 million. This will be split
- Lot 1 – Domestic Abuse Refuge & Safe Accommodation-based Services tenders received one value £5 million
- Lot 2 – Community-based Services for Victims of Domestic Abuse tenders received one value £7 million
- Lot 3 – Services for Perpetrators of Domestic Abuse tenders received two value £1.5 million
- Lot 4 – Services for Children & Young People Affected by Domestic Abuse tenders received one value £2.5 million
- Children victims of exploitation – £1 million tenders received three value £1.045 million
For 3 of the 5 contracts only one tender was received.
